The Human Performance Teaching Laboratory

The Human Performance Teaching Laboratory (HPTL), located in Mariucci Arena, is one of the finest teaching labs in the United States. The lab is dedicated to teaching students fundamental knowledge, skills, and the latest laboratory techniques using state-of-the-art equipment. The HPTL supports human anatomy, human physiology, exercise physiology, and biomechanics lab courses. With these courses, students can put their classroom learning into practice while gaining valuable hands-on experience using the latest equipment in the field. The HPTL is under the direction of Dr. Anton Hesse, and the physical space is overseen by Dr. Donald Dengel.
